IndBank Merchant to add 14 branches

IndBank Merchant Banking Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Indian Bank, plans to take the number of branches to 30 in the next one year, according to Mr A. Subramanian, Chairman of IndBank Merchant Banking Services Ltd and Executive Director of Indian Bank.

Addressing presspersons on the sidelines of the inauguration of the 16th branch of IndBank Merchant Banking Services Ltd here on Monday, he said that it plans to open 14 more branches in places such as Ernakulam and Visakhapatnam in the next one year as part of its expansion plans. To a query on the reason to open an office during the slowdown, he said the recession is the best time to expand.

In addition, IndBank Merchant Banking Services Ltd will set up exclusive stock broking terminals at select centres.
